Viu Manent is a Chilean winery that belongs to the Viu family since 1935. Viu Manent is a family-owned winery from Chile that produces some of the finest wines in the country and is spread across 260 hectares of land. Cabernet Sauvignon is one of their signature wines and has been exported to other continents ever since 1990. Viu Manent is also one of the oldest wineries in a wine country that has only been exporting its wines abroad on a large scale for 30 years.

The grapes for this wine come from wine plots in San Carlos. They are picked at night and immediately slightly bruised and crossed into a stainless steel tub. When the soaked skins have separated from the pulp, the winemakers start the fermentation in cooled tanks. Specially selected yeasts provide the wine with the tastiest aromas.

Tasting notes

The palate offers good structure, with tannins, acidity, and oak all in good balance, providing a balanced, elegant body. Delicious with meat dishes that are not too heavily prepared, rich pasta, vegetarian dishes with mushrooms, and creamy cheeses.
